Themes in The Rime of the Ancient Mariner

The extract``Water , Water everywhere’’  is taken from Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s poem , The Rime of the Ancient Mariner .The themes of the poem are sin and redemption, respect for nature , Terror,Through this poem Coleridge implies the terrible sea-voyage of an old mariner who at one point of his journey didn’t have any  water to drink because of a curse .Through these lines, the poet has successfully drawn and shown the importance of water along with sin ,redemption , respect for nature , come to all creatures.
