Road Accident
Road accident is an accident between two vehicles or an incident of vehicles happened on the road. It is a common affair in our country. It has become a terrible problem. It occurs in our country for many causes. Reckless driving is the main cause of road accident. Overtaking tendency, over loading, narrow road, damaged road, lack of traffic police, violation of traffic rules, increasing number of vehicles, lack of public awareness, mechanical disorder, etc, also cause road accident. The evill consequesnces of road accidents are serious. Road accident causes a heavy loss to our life and property. Many people in all walks of life pass away and get seriously wounded and influenced every day. This problem can be reduced by taking some measures. The drivers must be conscious of life and security and should follow the traffic rules imposed. They should avoid reckless driving and overtaking tendency. Traffic rules should be strictly followed. Those who will violate traffic rules should be punished. Narrow roads should be broadened. New roads should be constructed. Parking of cars here and there should be stopped. We can minimize the number of road accidents by raising public awareness. Mass media can play an important role in this regard. The government organisations along with police administration should launch work seriously for safe road so that we can move safely on the road.
